Wisconsin’s state budget surplus is growing, with the Legislative Fiscal Bureau now forecasting a surplus of $4.3 billion.
This comes after an initial estimate of about $4 billion.
Governor Tony Evers is set to present his new budget proposal in just over two weeks, which is expected to spark extensive negotiations with Republican lawmakers in the state.
