Nine fishermen are okay after a massive ice chunk broke near Sturgeon Bay.
NBC 26 reports that the break happened offshore from Sand Bay Beach Resort.
The Coast Guard says nine fishermen hired a charter company to ice fishing when a portion of the ice cracked and left them stranded.
The fishermen were in contact with the charter company and bystanders reported the incident to the Coast Guard.
Six of the fishermen were rescued from the chunk of ice while three decided to stay overnight to continue fishing.
The Coast Guard says the men who stayed were in the full contact with the charter company.
