A 59-year-old woman lost her life in a crash on Interstate 43, prompting an investigation by the Milwaukee County Sheriff’s Office.
While details remain limited, authorities report the incident occurred early Sunday at approximately 4:30 a.m.
Northbound lanes of I-43, between Highland and North avenues near Brown Street, were shut down for more than three hours.
The woman’s identity has not been released, and it’s unclear if there were any other injuries involved.
