One of the men charged in the death of Brandon Ramirez in Green Bay is pleading not guilty to murder charges.
Fox 11 reports that 22-year-old Nigel White will return for a status conference on March 4th.
Three others are charged in Ramirez’s death, including 18-year-old Dion Richardson, 18-year-old Elijah White, and 19-year-old Darian Pinchart.
According to a criminal complaint, Richardson wanted to buy some marijuana and was the one who pointed the gun at Ramirez before he was shot in the head.
While one of the men said the gun went off accidentally, a female passenger said she heard a man say, “Don’t move,” before hearing a gunshot.
Ramirez died at a hospital from his injuries.
Richardson is due back in court on January 31st, Elijah White returns on February 21st, and Darian Pinchart returns before a judge on April 7th for a plea hearing.
