Authorities are continuing their search for the man believed to be responsible for the deaths of a woman and her two daughters in New Lisbon.
The Juneau County Sheriff’s Office reports that over 170 tips have been received in the hunt for 47-year-old Virgil Thew.
Law enforcement officials launched a manhunt for Thew following the discovery of Elizabeth Kolba and her two daughters, aged 12 and 13, who were found dead on December 30th.
Investigators are urging residents to stay vigilant and report any suspicious activity related to outbuildings, seasonal homes, or other structures on their property.
Officials caution that Thew is considered armed and dangerous, advising anyone who spots him to avoid approaching and to call 911 immediately.
