
Some more local politicians have decided whether they want to run for council seats or not.
In Manitowoc, two of three incumbents filed to try and keep their seat on the common council.
They include 2nd District Alderman Chad Beeman and 3rd District Alderman Mike Cummings. In the 1st Manitowoc Aldermanic District, Ray Geigel filed his nomination papers to try and unseat incumbent Brett Vanderkin, who also filed his nomination papers to try and run and keep his seat.
The other alderman who’s filed nomination papers is 10th District Incumbent Todd Reckelberg.
7th District Alderman Tim Boldt will not be running for another term.
The mayor’s race for now has Incumbent Justin Nickels running against Businessman Jason Prigge.
The 2025 Spring Election is on April 1st, with a February 18th Primary.
