There will be no governmental meetings in the City of Sheboygan until well into the New Year.
The City’s Finance and Personnel Committee met on Monday (December 23rd), which marked the final meeting in Sheboygan ahead of the holiday break.
At the meeting, the committee approved each item up for discussion to move in front of the Common Council.
However, those discussion items will not be considered for two weeks. Sheboygan governmental meetings will reconvene on January 6th, when the Common Council kicks off the new year in the city.
The following day, a Special Board of Police and Fire Commissioners meeting will be held, and the official announcement of the next Chief of Police for the Sheboygan Police Department is expected to be revealed.
