Numerous area hospitals have been ranked among the best in the country for maternity care.
U.S. News and World Report has released its rankings for maternity care in 2024, and all eleven Wisconsin Aurora Medical Centers have been recognized as “high performing.”
These eleven locations include the Aurora Medical Centers in Two Rivers, Sheboygan, Oshkosh, and Green Bay.
These annual rankings reflect data received from the hospitals regarding uncomplicated births.
This means these local hospitals experienced fewer C-sections and severe newborn complications.
They also exhibited low episiotomy rates, higher rates of breast milk feeding, and more, which contributed to the mark of “high performing.”
