The Brown County Sheriff’s Office has announced its newest employee.
The Sheriff’s Office officially welcomed K9 Gimli into their ranks following a social media post yesterday (December 11th).
Gimli has spent the last eight weeks in New Mexico with his handler, Deputy Cooper Walker, to complete their training.
Gimli and Deputy Walker will now be working together in Brown County on patrol and doing narcotics work.
Gimli joins K9s Dart, Sasha, Mattis, Harli, Benzi, and Murdock on the force in Brown County.
K9s and their handlers are on call 24 hours a day, seven days a week, for work with both the Patrol Division and Drug Task Force.
