
The perfect start to the season continues for the Manitowoc Lincoln girls basketball team.
The Ships hosted the Spartans of Oshkosh North last night (December 10th) and picked up a dominating 56-26 win.
The Ships pulled out to a 23-11 lead at the half and drained 33 points in the second half to secure the 30-point win.
Sarah Bolchen led the way for the Ships with her 19-point performance, while Kendall Schmitz netted 16 and Taylor Peterson added 10.
Lincoln also played a clean game, only sending an Oshkosh player to the free throw line once, while the Ships went 7 for 10 at the charity stripe.
With the win, the Ships improve to 5-0 and are tied with Sheboygan South, Sheboygan North, De Pere, and Green Bay Preble atop the FRCC standings.
The next matchup for the Ships will be a conference bout with Sheboygan North, which will be at the home of the Golden Raiders this Friday (December 13th).
