
A fire in Neenah has resulted in major damage and left one pet dead.
WBAY reports that the Neenah-Menasha Fire Department was called to Laurel Court in Neenah for a structure fire yesterday (November 11th) afternoon.
Arriving fire crews discovered a home with significant smoke damage from the flames.
Firefighters were able to extinguish the blaze and ventilate the home; however, a deceased pet was found inside.
The family was able to get out unharmed but has been displaced due to the amount of damage to the home.
Currently, the cause of the fire remains under investigation.
The Neenah-Menasha Fire Department was assisted in its response to the incident by the Neenah Police Department and Gold Cross.
