A Baraboo man has been cited for operating after revocation or suspension for a 36th time. Jacob Schonenberger was stopped in Madison Wednesday night by a Dane County sheriff’s deputy enforcing the seat belt law. Schonenberger was driving on a license which expired four years ago. He was taken into custody when the deputy’s records check revealed the wrong license plate was on the vehicle and the driver wasn’t supposed to be driving. Operating while revoked is not a criminal offense in Wisconsin and it usually results in a simple fine to be paid.
