Two of our Local High School Boys Basketball teams will be playing for a ‘gold ball’ in their respective divisions in Madison tomorrow! Roncalli will face Marathon in the Division-4 State title game at 12:45 after the top-seeded Jets roared-past Pardeeville….82-48. The Jets nailed a state d-4 “record” for most 3’s in a game with ‘13. The Red Raiders advanced with a 61-38 victory over previously undefeated Clear Lake.
In the Division-‘3 championship game Valders will battle Prescott at 2:30. But, it took a Trent Hickman running jumper with 1-second remaining in ‘overtime’ for the Vikings 63-61 win over Kettle-Moraine Lutheran. Meanwhile, The Cardinals, who finished as a state runner-up a year ago, downed-East Troy…65-53 in the other semifinal yesterday afternoon.
