Man Already Facing Sex Charge Arrested Again

A 25-year-old La Crosse man was already facing a sex charge when a woman says he sexually assaulted her in a downtown hotel room earlier this month.  Eric Danielson Junior’s trial on the first sexual assault charge is scheduled to start in June.  The woman who filed the most recent complaint says Danielson met her at the Holiday Inn Hotel and Suites so he could repay a loan.  She says he attacked her in his hotel room, pinning her to a bed while he sexually assaulted her.  She managed to escape by saying she needed to use the restroom.  Danielson has said the sexual contact was consensual.  He also says the woman stole 16-hundred dollars from his room.
