The mystery behind a rotting meat truck in Bay View has been cleared up.
Milwaukee Police traced the vehicle to its owner, who explained that he had been hired to dispose of the meat but couldn’t complete the task until Tuesday.
This delay led to complaints from neighbors earlier in the week due to the strong odor.
The city’s health department investigated the situation, but since the owner eventually removed the meat, no charges or fines will be issued.
