Until approximately 12:00 noon today (Thursday), MPU will be closing S. 31st Street to through traffic between Division Street and Calumet Avenue to excavate and replace a failed water system valve.
Northbound traffic on S. 31st Street will be dead ended approximately 75’ south of Calumet Avenue. Calumet Avenue turn lanes for southbound S. 31st Street traffic will be temporarily closed. Homes and businesses on S. 31st Street will all remain accessible, but will need to be accessed by vehicular traffic solely from Division Street.
