The Manitowoc Bandits fell short in a non-league game in Green Bay.
The Blue Ribbons of the Wisconsin State League and Northeastern Wisconsin Baseball League pulled away in the 8th inning, plating 6 runs and cruising to a 10-4 win.
Up until that point, it was a back-and-forth contest, with Green Bay taking an early 1-0 lead and Manitowoc tying it in the 3rd.
The Ribbons would notch a 2-run home run in the bottom of that same inning to take a 3-1 lead, but Manitowoc would battle back in the 6th and 7th with Jackson Shmitz stealing home and Reese Berg blasting a home run.
The Bandits will be back in action next Thursday as they travel to Algoma to take on the Guins.
