Yesterday’s early morning storm caused many homes and businesses to lose power, and utility crews in Manitowoc and Two Rivers have been diligently working to get the lights back on.
Manitowoc Public Utilities reports that around 95% of the power was restored to the city as of 6:40 last night, however we were informed that a section of the City just north of the west side of Waldo Boulevard will likely be without power until sometime this afternoon.
Two Rivers Utilities last issued an update just before 11:00 a.m., where they stated that all power had been restored after previously noting that powerlines were downed on 12th Street.
The outage also popped a breaker, causing the splash pad in Central Park to be down for a while.
