The Manitowoc 16U American Legion baseball team took both ends of a doubleheader in Shawano yesterday.
In game 1, it was all Manitowoc, as they blasted Shawano 14-2.
Manitowoc scattered 11 hits on the day, while Caden Baudhuin had 3 RBI, and Kelvin Gilbertson earned the win on the mound.
In game 2, Nolan Lettenberger led the way at the plate, going 3 for 3 as his team won 8-4.
Aiden Rienke picked up the win on the mound, striking out a pair in his four innings of work.
The Manitowoc American Legion 16U team will be back in action Thursday in Bay Port, while the 17U and 19U teams are slated to host Kaukauna tonight.
