
The Manitowoc Bandits continued their strong season yesterday with a 13-3 road win over the Ashwaubenon Lookouts.
The Bandits struck first, plating one run each in the 1st, 3rd, and 4th innings, before taking on 3 in the 5th and 2 in the 6th.
They closed out with a bang, bringing 4 runners across home plate in the 8th. Lucas Mandich picked up the win on the mound, allowing 6 hits with 4 strikeouts in his six innings of work.
At the plate, Earl Vorpagel, Ridge Guyette, and AJ Dollinger each had 2 hits on the night, while Brady Coons was 3-3 with a triple and 2 RBI.
Austin Holton added a double in the explosive 8th inning.
Bandits will next take on the Green Bay Blue Ribbons Tuesday night at Joannes Park at 7:30 p.m.
