Two brothers have been convicted in a 2023 Green Bay homicide.
FOX 11 reports that 25-year-old Omar Hernandez and 24-year-old Jose Hernandez each entered pleas ahead of their trial, which was scheduled for August.
Omar had been charged with 1st Degree Reckless Homicide, 1st Degree Reckless Injury, and Resisting or Obstructing an Officer, while Jose was charged with Harboring/Aiding a Felon and Attempted 1st Degree Intentional Homicide as party to the crime.
Police were called to a shots fired complaint near Eisenhower Park in February of 2023, where they found a man with gunshot wounds to his chest and another dead from massive head trauma.
The incident reportedly stemmed from a fight earlier in the night at a bar.
Both brothers will be sentenced on September 4th.
