The Fond du Lac County Sheriff’s Office reported over the weekend that the first of the two arrests came on June 4th.
A deputy had noticed a vehicle with a defect, leading to a traffic stop.
The driver was found to have an active warrant, leading to a search of the driver and the vehicle uncovered some controlled substances.
There were a total of seven children in the vehicle at the time, ranging in age from 11 months to 12 years old.
Then, on June 15th, a deputy noticed a motorist with a registration defect.
A traffic stop was conducted, which is when the deputy noticed the smell of a controlled substance.
This driver also had an active warrant leading to a search of the vehicle.
5 grams of fentanyl were found in the vehicle, which was transporting four teenagers at the time, and 19 grams of cocaine was found on the driver.
