
The Milwaukee Brewers’ High-A Affiliate has been on a roll as of late.
The Wisconsin Timber Rattlers have won or tied their last three series, going 12-6 over that stretch.
The Grand Chute based club is coming off of a 4-2 series win over the West Michigan White Caps, where they plated 29 runs and gave up 17.
In fact, the Rattlers have been the best team in the Midwest League over their 63 games played so far, accumulating a 40-23 record, three and a half games better than their closest West Division counterpart, the Cedar Rapids Kernels.
The Rattlers are also two games better than the East Division leading Lake County Captains who have a league leading +78 run differential.
The Rattlers will try to keep the host run going tonight as they travel to Fort Wayne Indiana to take on the Tip Caps, a squad they beat four games to two the last time they met.
First pitch at Parkview Field is scheduled for 6:05 p.m. with Mark Manfredi taking the mound for the Rattlers against Enmanuel Pinales.
