What was supposed to be a full weekend of baseball in Manitowoc was cut a bit short due to rain.
Manitowoc American Legion Post 88 hosted their Father’s Day Tournament, where the 17U team took down Green Bay Southwest Legion 8-1 Friday.
The squad fell to Kewaunee County 10-4 in the first game of a doubleheader Saturday, but bounced back in the nightcap to take down West De Pere 5-4.
There were three more games scheduled for Sunday, but due to the early morning rain causing bad field conditions, the games were canceled.
The 17U squad is back in action Tuesday as they host Sheboygan, and the 19U squad will host Random Lake the same day.
The 16U squad is off until Wednesday, when they will be at Bay Port.
