
The Manitowoc Bandits took down the Kewaunee Chiefs 5-0 on the road for their second Shoreland League win.
Head Coach Chris Cisler tells W—Sports that Brando Black started out the scoring with a sacrifice fly that scored Carter Stebane.
Two of the other three runs were batted in by Stebane, while Earl Vorpagel drove in a run with a two RBI double.
Ky Mueller got the win going 5 innings with 6 strikeouts while Casey Bartelt picked up a long save going 4 innings with 5 K’s and 1 hit.
The Bandits Baseball team is back in action Wednesday night under the new lights at Branch Rec Park vs the Branch Blaze at 7:30 p.m.
