The Manitowoc American Legion Post 88 19U baseball team picked up a big win over the Hornets out of De Pere, 9-3.
In front of a home crowd, Bryar Foytik, Landon Chalupny, and Evander Kummer combined for four of the team’s seven hits, driving in four runs while scoring three.
On the mound, Trent Ducat had a phonominal game. He rang up ten Hornet batters over six innings, while allowing five hits.
Eyan Dessellier closed out the final inning with a pair of strikeouts for the Manitowoc squad.
Post 88 will be on the road today for a game against Green Bay Southwest.
