The dominance of the Kaukauna softball team was on display for the entire state to see yesterday, as the Galloping Ghosts rolled by Hamilton in the Division 1 Quarterfinal round of the state tournament.
Karly Meredith was near flawless on the mound, hurling 13 strikeouts while allowing just 2 hits and 1 walk.
She got help at the plate from Shortstop Taryn Christopher, who pelted four RBI on as many hits, while Jozy Ebben nocked home a pair.
Lizy Boyle and Taylor Federwitz would also account for a pair of runs as the Galloping Ghosts improve their near-historic run of wins up to 108.
They will look to get to within 3 wins of the national record win streak tonight, as they take on the #4 seed in the Division 1 tournament, Milton.
That Semifinal game will begin at 9:00 p.m. on Goodman Diamond in Madison.
