What started as a stolen car chase ended with a police dog and a suspect in the water near the Hoan Bridge yesterday.
The Milwaukee County Sheriff’s Office says it helped police from St. Francis and Cudahy chase down five suspects who they say stole a car and sped away.
That chase ended with a crash near the lake.
A sheriff’s K9 bit one of the suspects when they tried to run, and a second suspect jumped into the water to try and escape.
The sheriff’s office says a sixth suspect managed to get away.
Deputies are looking for them.
