The WIAA State Softball Tournament kicks off today (June 6th) with Division 1 Quarterfinals.
Action began at 8:00 a.m. on Goodman Diamond in Madison with the 2 seeded Kenosha Bradford taking on #7 Cedarburg. Immediately after that game, #3 Sun Prairie East is set to battle #6 Watertown.
At noon, #1 seeded Kaukauna rides a 107 game win streak as they take on #8 Hamilton, after which #4 Milton takes on #5 New Richmond.
The Division 4 semifinals will follow with #1 Fall Creek taking on #4 Coleman at 4:30 p.m. and #2 Cuba City tangling with #3 Auburndale.
Closing out the day will be a Division 5 semifinal between #1 Oakfield and #4 Thorp.
The tournament continues tomorrow, with the other Division 5 semifinal, and #1 Mishicot taking on #4 Laconia at 10:00 a.m.
