A man from Wautoma has been arrested after allegedly attempting to abduct a boy at Bird Creek Park.
Police say the man approached a group of children and walked towards the woods with one of them.
An adult called the boy back, prompting the man to flee.
He was later apprehended by police.
Formal charges from Waushara County prosecutors are pending.
