Congressman Derrick Van Orden of Western Wisconsin is set to parachute into France to commemorate the 80th anniversary of D-Day.
Along with nine other congressmen, Van Orden will reenact the historic jump made by paratroopers during the D-Day invasion.
Having arrived in France Tuesday, Van Orden is scheduled to make the jump Thursday, marking the anniversary of the Allied forces’ invasion during World War II.
