There is a busy day on tap today (June 5th) in the City of Manitowoc, as there are four meetings on the calendar.
The Board of Public Works will be in the Council Chambers at 4:00 p.m. where they will hold a public hearing for proposed improvements at the intersection of Summit and South 19th Streets.
They will also look over agreements for a paving project, restoration services, and the installations of cameras at Citizen Park.
At the same time, the Rahr-West Art Museum’s Board of Directors will meet in the Museum where they will get an update from the Ad Hoc East Lawn Committee.
Then, at 5:30 p.m., the Plan Commission will take over the chambers where they will look over some public comments related to the conditional use permit to change the former McKinley Academy building into a warming shelter and transitional housing known as The Neighborhood.
Closing out the day will be the Public Infrastructure Committee, which will meet in the Chambers at 6:30 p.m.
After hearing input from the public, the group will look over some flooding issues on Custer Lane.
