A woman is facing her first OWI charge after an accident.
Manitowoc Police were called to the 900 block of South 8th Street Saturday (June 1st) at around 4:00 p.m. after a report of a two-vehicle accident with blockage.
When police show up, a woman who called police said the other driver that crashed into her seemed “out of it.”
The woman was let go and police started talking to the 32-year-old suspect who reportedly has slow speech and had constricted pupils.
She stated that she hadn’t been taking any drugs, but when police did a field sobriety test, she failed.
The woman is facing a felony bail jumping charge for allegedly operating a vehicle under the influence, plus violating bail conditions.
