There are four meetings today in the City of Two Rivers.
The Committee on Aging is slated to gather in the Senior Center Library at 8:30 a.m., where they will hear input from the public and their usual committee reports.
The Advisory Recreation Board is also scheduled to meet at 8:30, although no agenda was available as of this morning.
At 5:00 p.m., the Public Utilities Committee will convene in the Committee Room, where they will get an update on the ongoing Roosevelt Avenue reconstruction project.
They will also talk about a proposal to purchase a new street sweeper and several upcoming projects.
Closing out the day will be the City Council, which will be in the Council Chambers at 6:00 p.m.
After a badge pinning ceremony for new Firefighter/Paramedic Tanner Tome, the council will also get an update on Roosevelt Avenue and on tourism.
These are the only meetings for the week in the Cool City, as tomorrow’s Public Works Committee meeting has been canceled.
