
A man is facing charges after he allegedly threatened a Manitowoc resident with a gun.
The Manitowoc Police Department received the weapons call at 12:30 this morning (May 29th), with the caller saying the suspect was still in the home in the 1200 block of South 35th Street.
Three residents were instructed to go to Dunkin’ Donuts, where the officer met them.
A total of six officers were on the scene, with one wielding a pepper ball launcher.
One of the victims told police the 22-year-old man had pointed the gun at a car they were in and threatened to shoot them.
The suspect was described to the officers and was seen to be among three men who exited the residence just before 1:45 a.m.
The suspect was arrested without incident, and the weapon used was found in the gutter above the front door.
It was described as a Co2-powered handgun.
The suspect called it a toy, but he was still charged with Making Terrorist Threats and Disorderly Conduct with a Domestic Violence Enhancer.
