The Mishicot softball team is now one win away from a trip to the state tournament.
The Indians rode another near-flawless performance on the mound by Kiran Sanford as they took out New Holstein 6-0 in front of a home crowd.
Sanford allowed just 3 hits and 3 walks while striking out 10 batters, while Katelyn Callahan dominated at the plate.
She went 3 for 3 and blasted a home run, while Kasey Brouchoud drove in a pair.

It will be a battle of number one seeds in the sectional championship, as the Indians will square off against Peshtigo in Oconto Thursday for the Sectional crown and a trip to the state tournament in Madison.
