A 63-year-old man from La Crosse who was pulled from the water near the Pokegama Lakeside Cantina in Chetek has died.
Barron County’s Sheriff reported that the man, found in the lake on May 11th, passed away.
The circumstances of how he ended up in the lake remain unclear, but investigators believe alcohol may have been a factor.
