The local branch of Habitat for Humanity has a new executive director.
Daryl Mangeri has assumed the role at Habitat for Humanity Lakeside, bringing with him a wealth of experience in the nonprofit sector.
He has already served with the Salvation Army for 15 years and was most recently with the Family Services Association over the past five years.
Andres Araujo, the President of Habitat Lakeside’s Board of Directors, called him the right choice because “He has a proven track record of positively impacting our community, and we are confident that he will provide strong leadership as we continue our mission of building homes, community and hope throughout Sheboygan County.”
Mangeri succeeds Niki Zohrab, who has served as Executive Director since December 2021.
The Habitat Lakeside Board of Directors also extended its gratitude to Zohrab for her dedicated leadership and numerous contributions during her tenure.
Habitat for Humanity Lakeside celebrated 30 years in 2023 and completed their 50th home within their Home Buyer program in July of last year.
