A motorcyclist is dead after an accident yesterday (May 14th) evening.
Calumet County Sheriff’s Sgt. Chad Hederer says sheriff’s deputies were called to the Intersection of County Highway HH and Meyer Rd. in the town of New Holstein just before 7:30 pm.
Preliminary investigations show that the motorcycle traveling westbound on HH hit a boat being towed by a Ford F250, which had two people inside, in a rear-end collision.
The 18-year-old motorcyclist from New Holstein died at the scene.
The two people in the truck were not hurt.
The incident is still under investigation with Wisconsin State Patrol helping in the reconstruction of the crash. Speed was a factor in the accident.
The names of those involved are not being released at this time.
