A Milwaukee Public Schools assistant principal faces charges for allegedly assaulting a student who is also a relative.
The incident occurred a month ago at Washington High School of Information Technology.
Assistant principal Toilisa Lockett is accused of punching, pushing, yelling at, and grabbing the student by the neck after they were expelled from another school for disrespectful behavior.
Lockett admitted to police that she lost control and regretted her actions.
She is now facing felony child abuse charges, which could result in prison time if convicted.
