A second man was convicted in a Fond du Lac firebombing incident.
According to WBAY TV , 26-year-old Elliot J. Schneider was convicted on several felony charges including damage to property by use of explosives, first-degree recklessly endangering safety, and felony bail jumping.
Fond du Lac County District Attorney Eric Toney said the firebombing charges stem from an explosive device that detonated causing damage to a residence and endangering the safety of those inside back in 2016.
Jonas Johnson was also convicted on related charges. Schneider’s sentencing is set for May 24th.
This case was also investigated by the Wisconsin Division of Criminal Investigation and the City of Fond du Lac Police Department, with assistance from the Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives Agency (ATF).
