The demonstration site at UW-Milwaukee has seen an increase in size, with protesters erecting an additional 20 tents near the Golda Meir Library.
Members of Students for Democratic Society, after deliberation, decided to expand the camp following a meeting on Monday.
The protest, initiated the previous Monday, is aimed at urging the University of Wisconsin to sever ties with Israel and advocating for other demands, including the removal of police from campus premises.
University officials expressed a willingness to engage in further dialogue with protest organizers.
