Out of eleven teams competing at the Seymour Invitational, the Kiel Boys and Girls Track and Field teams both finished in the top two.
In fact, the Raider boys took home a first-place finish, earning 12.5 more points than runner-up Hortonville.
Oshkosh North came in 3rd while Seymour and Bonduel rounded out the top five.
The Kiel girls finished 2nd after all 18 events were scored, falling 54 points behind the top squad from Hortonville.
Bonduel earned a 3rd place finish, followed by Oshkosh North and Seymour.
Between both teams, the Raiders collected eighteen first place finishes, including a clean sweep of the relay races.
Starting with the boys, the 4×100 relay team of Mateo Lapujade, Mason Schaefer, Bryce Gullixon, and Harrison Zorn finished on top, as did the 4×200 team of Trey Bartz, Gullixon, Lapoujade, and Zorn, the 4×400 team of Pierce Arenz, Chaz Blanke, Adler Curry, and Logan Perl, and the 4×800 team of Arenz, Aidan Murphy, Kaden Reiss, and Ethan VanderMeer.
Zorn also claimed gold in the 100 dash, with relay teammate Lapujade right behind him, Blanke won the 400-meter dash, Murphy was first in the 1600-meter run, followed closely by teammate Owen Korb, and Vander Meer earned gold in the 3200-meter run, which was swept by Kiel with Sam Kueller coming in second, and Kaden Reiss in third.
In the field events, Austin Riesterrer pole vaulted the highest, while Nathan Keinbaum had the furthest triple jump, followed by Arenz.
For the girls, Addison Vogel had a meet to remember, winning the 400 and 800-meter dashes while also being a part of the winning 4×800 relay alongside Lilly Larson, Lily Watson, and Hailey Helms.
The team of Sara Reibe, Chelsea Schmidt, Maddison McDole, and Jayda Arenz brought home a pair of gold medals in the 4×200 and 4×400 relays, while Aubrie Fromm, Chelsea Schmidt, Ella Narrance, and Maddison McDole completed the sweep of the relays in the 4×100.
In field events, McDole had the best high jump of the day, and Arenz had the best long jump.
