It was a tight matchup at Manitowoc Lutheran High School, but in the end, host Lancers edged out Mishicot 3-2.
After a scoreless 1st inning, the Indians struck first, plating one run in the 2nd, and added another in the 3rd.
The Lancers would respond with a run in the bottom of the 3rd and would take the lead in the 4th with a pair.
Logan Haput would hold the Indians scoreless through the final three innings to secure the win for the Lancers.
Logan Brooks and Will Franzen knocked in two of the Lancers’ runs, while Brady Urbanek and Nolan Sand accounted for all of Mishicot’s scoring.
The two teams will be right back at it today, this time in Mishicot.
