A man charged with the death of a Green Bay man in December has pleaded not guilty.
45-year-old Owen Backus is facing charges of 1st Degree Intentional homicide and Misdemeanor Bail Jumping in the killing of Michael Hubbard.
WBAY TV reports that he was in court Monday, where he entered his plea on both counts.
Backus is accused of attacking a man who he claims broke into his home while he was in the shower.
Hubbard was found tied up, and an autopsy showed he died from being struck in the head and from asphyxia.
His next court date is not yet available on CCAP.
