It was a great night for Manitowoc Lincoln baseball, as they took down Sheboygan North at Municipal Field last night 9-2.
Pitcher Noah Wech had a killer day on the mound, striking out 14 batters while allowing two hits and two runs in six and one-third innings of work.
Wech also aided his own cause at the plate, going 2 for 3 and knocking in a pair of runs.
Kameron Braun also notched 2 RBI, while Gavin Lettenberger, Cade Grapentine, and Benson Dickrell brought home the rest.
The Ships are now 9-1 overall and 8-1 in conference and will continue its homestand Saturday in a scheduled non-conference doubleheader against Ripon.
Game 1 is to start at 11:00 a.m., weather permitting.
