A Two Rivers man is facing charges in Brown County for sexually assaulting an underage girl.
According to WBAY TV, 22-year-old Eugene Winkel became friends with the victim after she accepted a friend request on social media.
At the time, he was 18, and the victim was 15, but he said through a message that it could be “kept on the down low.”
Later, the victim said he would sometimes bring her lunch to school but then started acting weird and talked about hooking up.
According to the criminal complaint, between October and November of last year, Winkel allegedly gave the victim a beer and had sex with her in a car and in her home.
Winkel went to the Green Bay Police Department last week because he thought they were looking for him and allegedly admitted to having sex with the girl.
His initial appearance in a Brown County courtroom was Friday (April 11th).
His next court date has not been set.
