Sam Armstrong, the teenager involved in the 2022 bonfire explosion incident in Shawano County, has been handed a prison sentence.
Armstrong, aged 18, was sentenced to one year in prison and five years of probation by a judge.
He had pleaded guilty to tossing a nearly empty fuel barrel into a bonfire during a party in Pulaski in October 2022.
The resulting explosion injured several teenagers, one of whom sustained serious burns.
