A Sheboygan Falls man had to be airlifted from the scene of a crash Wednesday evening.
According to WHBL, the Sheboygan County Sheriff’s Office responded to the single-vehicle crash on Highway 67, near Highway U at around 10:00 p.m.
The unnamed 26-year-old man was said to have been driving at a high rate of speed and under the influence when his vehicle left the roadway in the Town of Mitchell.
The vehicle went airborne, struck a tree, and trapped the driver.
He was cut from the wreckage and flown to Theda Care in Neenah by a medical helicopter.
There have been no updates on his condition.
