Although two organizations have combined, a ribbon cutting through The Chamber Manitowoc County makes it official.
It was announced in October last year that Big Brothers Big Sisters Wisconsin Shoreline would relocate to the Manitowoc Two-Rivers YMCA to enhance access to youth, volunteers, and community stakeholders.
This also gives a better opportunity to find people who want to be a big brother or sister, which the group has said they need.
According to a Chamber Facebook post, attendees got the chance to check out the new space and learn more about the services they provide to youth and their families in our community.
Speeches were both given by Big Brothers Big Sisters CEO Denise Wittstock and YMCA Executive Director CEO Julie Grossman, and the day ended with a picture by the YMCA sign on Maritime Drive.
